Celebrating Laredo through land, memory, and place
Join us for a hands-on soil painting workshop inspired by A Distant Familiar. Using soil gathered from around Laredo, participants will explore how land carries memory, history, and connection.
Learn how to prepare soil into paint, experiment with texture and mark-making, and create your own small painting rooted in nature, memory, and home.
No prior art experience required. Supplies are provided.
